This session introduces EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING to help children that have
ATTACHMENT and ANXIETY  issues that are common in growth and development.
Helps prepare young children for pre-k, kindergarten and childcare.
Each camper will experience barn activities that include:

  • independence by parallel play and interactive play
  • giving all barn animals fresh water and hay - all the mature horse
  • responsibility through giving puppies and kittens fresh food and water
  • learn how to groom - soothing the anxiety of separation from mom and dad
  • develop trust with their new equine friend

We focus on each child's individual strengthens by developing trust and fostering the
natural soothing nature of horses, to nurture a bond between the child and horse.
Through this learning process your child is able to participate and establish trust and
love with their new friend learning that separation can be a positive fun experience.
CAMP COUNSELORS ON THIS SESSION ARE CERTIFIED IN EQUINE ASSISTED
LEARNING AND HUMAN SERVICES  as will as experience in working with children with
attachment and anxiety obstacles in development.
